RAMPS!


Ramp aka (Allium tricoccum) is a spring vegetable that has a strong garlic and onion flavor. Ramps are native to the East Cost and the Mountains.  Ramps are growing in popularity and more upscale restaurants through North America are using them.  Since the wild vegetable is only available for a couple weeks, we bought 25 pounds J. We will pickle the majority of them to preserve for later months.
